Boyfriend debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100
Although the opening digital sales total (521,000 first-week downloads sold in the US) for “Boyfriend” is the fourth-best for any song debut on billboard’s chart, Justin’s new single didn’t make it to the #1.
